Job Summary

The Field Project Administrator performs general administrative support for projects within the AST Division.

Essential Functions

  • Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."
  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."
  • Perform administrative activities in support of project management functions which may include RFQ's, proposals, subcontracts, purchasing, job management, cost controls, etc.
  • Responsible for filling out PO requisitions for equipment rentals, welding consumables, and various other job needs.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for RFQ's, proposals, jobs, subcontracts, associated logs, etc.
  • Interface with billing personnel as needed to resolve issues within assigned groups.
  • Assist Project Managers with the preparation, distribution, Labor cost tracking, and material management.
  • Administer the qualification, processing, tracking, and logging of subcontractors.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years related administrative experience.
  • Previous construction industry experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • This role will sit on site in Vidor, TX.
