Transitions & Quality Control Intern

Job Description Summary

The Transition & Quality Control Intern performs all requested tasks and necessary lease administration duties to onboard new properties under Property Management. Interns assist department leaders, Transition Specialists, Transition Analyst, and Transition Administrator and provide support for various department functions.

Job Description

Responsibilities: May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Assist Transition Specialists, Analysts, Administrator, and department leaders as requested for day-to-day workload and special projects
  • Assist with department special projects for BAU transitions and mergers & acquisitions as requested
  • Abstract leases into Yardi, MRI, or other databases to obtain all essential lease terms and produce approved rent rolls to be audited by Transition Administrator, Analysts, or Specialists
  • Make recommendations and implement solutions for department processes; Participate in yearly department goals to drive change and improvement
  • Assist in completing other tasks within the department when additional resources are needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree or currently pursuing
  • Or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • SharePoint and Office 365 experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and within a flexible work schedule
  • Effective and efficient time management skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, and thorough
  • Experience in customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
