The University of Pittsburgh, Ophthalmology Department is searching for a Clinical Research Technician III. This position will work with the clinical portion of the department to ensure high quality and consistency in reporting results. Majority of work is with MNCL service, Retinal Dystrophy, Low Vison, and Neuro.
Conducts complex laboratory experiments, high-level tests, and a variety of routine to complex scientific tasks. Performs data and specimen collection and processing as well as equipment maintenance and set up. Ensures adherence to all established protocols and regulatory practices. Mentors' student workers and lower-level technicians.
a. Job description: Incumbent will function in collaboration with the UPP Department of Ophthalmology for patient care needs, such as Goldmann visual fields, Octopus visual fields, and patient intake.
b. Qualification of candidate: Bachelor's degree or 20 years of ophthalmic experience.
Multitasking and solid concentration needed.
