Job Summary | A position is available for a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical quantum information science in the lab of Bei Zeng in the Departments of Physics at the University of Texas at Dallas. We are seeking a creative, independent, and highly motivated individual to join our team, focusing on research in quantum information theory, the application of neural networks to study quantum systems, and quantum tomography. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Ph.D in a related field. |
Preferred Education and Experience | Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Physics or in a related field and have a robust background in quantum information science or quantum foundations. Expertise in quantum correlations, quantum tomography, and machine learning is highly desirable. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Theoretical studies, methods/algorithms development, computational simulations, mentoring of junior group members. |
